Reflection Life Studio evolved through my personal journey of self discovery.

Realizing as our youngest child entered high school that I needed to awaken other facets of myself besides being a parent and wife. Attended a yoga class in town with a Kripalu certified yoga teacher, Virginia H. , fell instantly in love with the experience. This was the beginning of a love affair with yoga and holistic modalities for rejuvenating and healing body/mind/spirit. Completed training in January 2005 at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health with 200 hour certification, followed by 500 hour certification completed in Feb, 2018.
I opened Simply Breathe Yoga Studio in March 2006 and have continued to pay forward the nurturing gifts of health and well being yoga offers.

I am honored to be a Kripalu affiliated yoga studio. Kripalu Yoga is a practice to become fully present to experience life, allowing one to just simply be. Kripalu (Krih-PAH-loo) means being compassionate in Sanskrit, the language of yoga tradition. This is the essence of Kripalu yoga, having self- compassion. Yoga is not a workout, it is a work in. The mat is not a platform for more comparing or competing that the outside world encourages or demands. The mat is a place of self inquiry, to invite the mind to rest, the heart to relax and the body to rebalance and rejuvenate. Yoga activates and integrates the undigested tension we hold in the body.
